Rich Flavorful Lip Balms are a specialty at Millcreek Valley Farm! We have lots of competition out there, but we are not worried! Our proprietary blend of oils and butters along with beeswax and the finest flavorings available make our lip balms stand up to the most stringent test of all . . . your lips! We also make them fun to use and show off. We should mention here that the coloring used does not tint lips or skin. It is added in many as "eye candy" to accentuate a particular flavoring. As you would expect, these lip balms come to you labeled and shrunk wrapped so that you know what's in it, and that it has not been tampered with.

Our "Naturally" has no added color, and only a hint of oat and honey flavor to offset the bare presense of vitamin E. "Root Beer Float" also has a hint of menthol. Sweet Almond Oil - This wonderful oil is rich in vitamins including vitamin E It is useful for all skin types, although it is particularly indicated for dry, sensitive, inflamed or prematurely aged skin.
Castor Oil - Castor oil is like the queen oil in lip balms and lipstick for the fabulous glide.
Coconut Oil - Coconut oil is excellent as a skin moisturizer and softener. Lauric acid is the main acid in coconut oil, and is believed to have antimicrobial properties. Aside from coconut oil, the only other source of lauric acid found in such high concentrations is in mother's milk. Tropical oils and mother's milk are by far the richest food sources of medium chain fatty acids available.
Candelilla Wax - Used for years in lip balms and lotions as an addition to beeswax or a substitution for it.
Beeswax - Burt may have made it famous, but it has been praised for thousands of years! We supplement what our hives produce with local, unbleached beeswax.
Mango Butter - Mango Butter has beneficial moisturizing properties for lotions and acts as a mild lubricant for the skin.
Vitamin E - used for the anti-oxidant properties and other benefits to the skin.
Wheat Germ Oil - blessed with beta carotene and Vitamin E this oil is great for lotions, balms and other skin care products. Our wheat germ oil is expeller pressed without the use of solvents!

When We Use Color, it is vegetable based and from a trusted source. Our Fragrance and Essential Oils are used sparingly in some products, and likewise purchased from carefully chosen vendors.
